There are two main ways to add samples to your basket and checkout:

1) From the catalog or product page

2) From a project on Source

How to add from the catalog or product page:

Start with a search or select a category under "Browse and Discover" to see all the results. You can use filters to narrow down your search.

From the search results you can add directly to your basket by hovering over the item and then click "Add to Basket"

​How to add from a project on Source:

Once you've started adding products to a Project on Source, you can then order samples from the Project page. Simply select all the products in the Project you'd like to order samples of and then click "Add to Basket".

Note: Custom or self-uploaded products are not able to be added to your basket.

Completing check out from your basket:

Once all the items you want to order are in your basket, click the basket icon in the upper right to view your basket or begin checkout.

From your basket you can edit the quantity of samples to be delivered, or remove items from your basket. Note: Sample quantities are limited to 3 per product, per order.

Ordering Samples

To begin placing an order, click the Proceed to Order Samples button at the bottom of your basket. If we do not have a delivery address stored with your account, you will be asked to include one at this time.

Once in checkout, provide your order details, including delivery address, phone number, project name, and project phase:

Note: Source takes your NDA project privacy seriously. For this reason, NDA projects are not available for selection in the project list. If the project your sample applies to is an NDA project, please select NDA from the list.

Order detail page:

If any of the items in your checkout are available for delivery from Material Bank, you will also be asked to opt-in to their order fulfillment. Opting-in requires a Material Bank account, or will create one for you.

Note: Material Bank is not able to deliver to Alaska or Hawaii at this time.

Opting-In

  • If you already have a Material Bank account with an email address that matches your Source account, your order will be placed through your existing Material Bank account.

  • If you do not have a Material Bank account with a matching email address an approved Material Bank account will automatically be created on your behalf.

Opting-Out

  • If you Opt-out of delivery from Material Bank, all items will be delivered directly from Brands within 3-5 business days.

All items available from delivery from Material Bank to your specified address will be displayed in the Material Bank checkout section. Orders placed before 9pm ET will be delivered in one box, overnight. Verify products and quantities prior to placing your order. Once a Material Bank order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email.

Note: Any items from your basket to be delivered from Brands will appear in the following checkout section.

All items to be delivered by Brands will appear in the Delivered by Brands checkout section. These items will be delivered by Brands and arrive within 3-5 business days. Once you have placed an order from Brands, you will receive a confirmation email.

Note: Fulfillment of these samples will be managed by Brands, and may arrive separately.

You’re all set! Your order summary will reflect the products ordered, and their fulfillment method.
