If we have a brand page for that manufacturer, you can order order a sample through their brand page by using the "Product Request" feature.

This form allows you to name the product you'd like a sample of and designate the color you're interested in. You may also write a note to your rep. You then add this custom request to your project. You can order samples directly from your project, and you can order a mix of products and brand requests in the same order.
